Reading the descriptions of the district's history has piqued my curiosity. I would be interested in understanding more about the peoples who lived here and the system of governance over time.
Although the posted hours said the museum would open at 9:00 a.m., it was still closed when I arrived at 9:30. A guard told me to return at 10:00 and it might be open then. I started to leave and had almost left the school grounds when someone ran after me to tell me that the museum was now open. I think the museum director had just arrived after finishing her Sunday morning shopping.
I wasn't asked to sign the guest register, which may account for the low number of visitors that you saw.

Rochellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09093589181879789435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-66648653985842440.post-29275611793728066042014-10-12T02:56:23.940+02:002014-10-12T02:56:23.940+02:00Hello,

He knows about this through our grandmother, Somboon Sarayutpitag, who was a contemporary. The nearest train station is at Salaya, with several trains coming from Bangkok stopping there. However, from there to the market its still more than 5 kilometer, so you'd have to catch a ride there - and there are much less taxis or tuk tuk outside Bangkok city. Maybe it has a Songthaew for the route, but that's just guessing. Probably the easiest way to go there without your own car is to hire a taxi for a day.Andyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17710647861853833065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-66648653985842440.post-18581651043712144672011-04-19T07:35:20.701+02:002011-04-19T07:35:20.701+02:00Hi, May I know if we can get there by public trans...Hi, May I know if we can get there by public transport? I have been to one in Sathun - a very small one. They made it like a swimming pool - cut all the trees, cemented the natural surroundings, and... well, I guess that's their idea of making it beautiful. If they just had a bit more "Japanese" sense for embedding it into a natural surrounding, it could be such a beautiful place.Koh Samui Travelhttp://www.kohsamuitravel.orgnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-66648653985842440.post-9449512676284649402010-08-25T11:10:49.787+02:002010-08-25T11:10:49.787+02:00Andy,
